It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and we visited our professor in one of our subjects at school together with one professor of another subject. After touring around and chit-chatting with long lost friends, it was already 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon.

Our professor Madame Sornito volunteered to treat us, her students. All of us were delighted. Freebies are always great, right?
As we walk along Malvar Street, we passed through Cecil’s Snack Inn and we decided to take our snacks there. Some of my classmates ordered luglog. My order consist of Batchoy and empanada. I would have wanted the puto and dinuguan but they run out of it anymore. Anyways, that was already 4pm so that’s understandable.
Batchoy is always great for an afternoon snack. The bowl of it is large enough and I was really full. The taste is good and if you want to have a little tinge of spice, you can always add some condiments which is readily available on the table. You can add some powdered pepper or soy sauce if you want.
